Calculating allostatic load evaluates how your body responds to and adapts to stress!
For what purposes can it be useful?
The calculator analyzes the impact of stressors on the body. Not all stress has a negative impact on our health, but the ones our body could not deal with leave their mark. By studying the interactions of inflammatory, neuroendocrine and metabolic systems, we can determine how much damage has been done to the body.
How to use this information in practice?
The higher the index of allostatic load (ALI), the stronger the cumulative effect on the body. Because chronic stress is a threat to health, it can lead to problems such as:
➤ diabetes and insulin resistance
➤ abdominal obesity and high body mass index
➤ cardiovascular diseases
➤ elevated blood pressure
➤ reduced results in the gym
➤ low testosterone levels
➤ frequent viral illnesses (more than 4 years for adults).
Note! This is only the blood test. You can order the calculator from Healsens itself.
