second opinion CBR
Custom quote depending on the type of test(s ) and where to run it again.
A contra-expertise (second opinion) at the CBR is a medical examination performed by a different medical specialist than the one who performed the original medical examination. CBR can request a contra-expertise if there are doubts about a driver's medical fitness to drive a vehicle.
For such a contra expertise, blood or urine frozen from a previous examination can also be requested to be analyzed again by another lab.
For this, analysis costs and courier costs for transporting the material on dry ice will be charged.
In a contra-expertise, the driver's health status is reassessed by another medical specialist. The contra-expert may perform the same examination as the original medical examiner, but will also be able to perform additional tests to get a complete picture of the driver's health.
The result of the contra-expertise can lead to a reconsideration of the CBR's decision on the driver's medical fitness. If the contra-expertise shows that the driver is fit to drive, CBR can still grant the driving license.
