Drug screening urine and blood Private
Drug screening (immunological) (GC-MS qualitative) urine and blood (WP26).
The following substances are tested in this blood and urine drug test :
- THC-COOH blood test
- Amphetamines urine
- Cocaine
- Methadone
- Methadone metabolite
- Opiates/heroin
- 6 monoacetylmorphine
- Benzodiapines
- GHB
- Creatinine
In the case of a positive screening (immunology), a confirmation test (chromatograph mass spectrometer) is performed as standard for the substance in question. The cost of this is 97 euros each. If you order this test you give your approval in advance. You will not receive the result until the payment for the confirmatory test has been made.
During urine screening, the creatinine value is determined by default in order to test the reliability of the sample.
Strangely, there are no accepted reference values for creatinine in urine. Recently, the Dutch expert group on drug analysis (consisting of LJ Mostert, RJM Niesink, EJM Pennings, DRA Uges, JP Weijers-Everhard, FA de Wolff, RA de Zeeuw, PGM Zweipfenning, and ACG Egberts), also considered the question of what the cut-off value for creatinine in urine in drug testing should be. After reviewing all available data, they decided to recommend accepting 2 mmol/l as the minimum value. With a value lower than 2 mmol/l and a negative result for drugs it should be reported that the sample in question has no informative value for the drug test in question. If the result is positive, it can of course simply be used.
Someone can not just be punished on the basis of a creatinine content < 2 mmol/l. The specificity of this cut-off value is insufficient. It is important to recommend that morning urine be taken. In practice, however, this is not always feasible.
