In this study, the entire iron metabolism is mapped out using these tests:
- Iron
- Blood count small including hemoglobin (Hb)
- Ferritin
- Transferrin
- Transferrin saturation (TIJBC)
A serum and an EDTA tube are required for this examination.
Symptoms of iron deficiency:
