Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
As a fighter you often demand a lot from your body. To optimize your performance it can be useful to have your blood values measured. Here we check: Asat, Alat, Cortisol, Gamma GT, Creatinine, Cholesterol, Testosterone, DHEA-S, LH and FSH. Cortisol can say something about the level of physical stress. There are strong correlations between overtraining and a high Cortisol level.
This test has the same content as the Flex Challenge test.(WP3)
Creatine kinase (CK) To determine if a person has had damage to muscles in the body. This test can be used to measure overtraining in athletes. Because the heart also has a lot of muscle tissue, the test can also be used to diagnose a heart attack. In our clinic, CK total is measured; this test provides information about muscle damage.
The test determines the amount of creatine kinase (CK) in the blood. Creatine kinase is an enzyme, which is a protein that helps convert one substance into another in body cells. Creatine kinase is found in the heart, brain, skeletal muscles.
